These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising under these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Our Contract
When you place an order, you will receive an acknowledgment e-mail confirming receipt of your order. This email will only be an acknowledgment and will not constitute acceptance of your order. A contract between us for the purchase of the goods will not be formed until your payment has been approved by us and we have debited your credit or debit card.
Gift Cards
Benares’ gift vouchers are valid for 12 months after which, if not used, the whole balance will expire. Benares’ gift vouchers can only be redeemed at Benares Restaurant, London or used to purchase goods online or over the telephone. If used for a dining experience at the Restaurant, you’ll be required to provide the gift card serial number and security code when making a reservation. You cannot exchange gift vouchers for cash and outstanding balances are non-refundable. When dining, if the funds on the gift card are less than the total bill, the remainder can be paid by an alternative method. When you redeem gift vouchers online or over the telephone to purchase goods you will be required to give the serial number and security code of the voucher. If the security code has already been used, the voucher will be void. Payment
Upon receiving your order we carry out a standard pre-authorisation check on your payment card to ensure there are sufficient funds to fulfil the transaction. Goods will not be dispatched until this pre-authorisation check has been completed. Your card will be debited once the order has been accepted.
